OUR PLANT
| In January 1999, we decided to build a brand new processing facility. Our goal was to design and build a plant in which we would be able to maintain the highest level of food quality and safety. To reach that goal, we inspected many processing facilities and sought the advice of other processors. We took the best ideas for product flow and cleanliness, and incorporated them into our new plant. |

All the building surfaces were chosen for their durability and washability--from the Kemlite walls and ceiling, down to the stainless steel grates and gutters. All painted metal equipment was given the boot, and new, all-stainless equipment was designed and manufactured for us. |
|
To keep the fruit clean and safe we purchased new flats and designed the plant so that from the moment it arrives, the fruit is always under cover. In order to maintain our new plant and equipment to the highest possible food safety standards, we implemented a sanitation and HACCP plan professionally designed for our plant. |

All of our fields are located within one mile of the facility, making it possible for the fruit to be delivered, and processed as quickly as possible after being harvested. Thanks to the advice and help of the following people, we were able to build a plant we are proud of!
